Problem
The top floors of the Phoenix
Building in Atlanta, GA provide
some of the best views of the
City. These are what people
call “Million Dollar Views”.
The Penthouse suite, with over
two stories of glass facing
the southwest, posed a dilemma
for the Atlanta-based interior
design firm Kelly and Associates.
Heat, glare and UV were streaming
through the wall of windows
making this million dollar home
unbearable in the afternoon.
Firm owner Margie Kelley adds,
“We did not want to cover
the windows with heavy window
treatments or shades which would
have ruined the panoramic view
of downtown, but we needed to
do something to control the
sun. That’s when we called

Solution
After viewing a variety of samples
